ESIG is pleased to announce its premier industry event, the 2022 Meteorology & Market Design for Grid Services Workshop (formerly known as the ESIG Forecasting Workshop).
This year’s event will be held at The Curtis Hotel in Denver, Colorado.
In addition to this workshop, we’ll also be hosting a simultaneous event, Special Topic Workshop: Grid-Forming IBRs, at the host hotel. Your paid registration for the Meteorology and Market Design for Grid Services Workshop will also give you access to the Special Topic Workshop: Grid-Forming IBRs.
**If you are considering attending either workshop, we strongly encourage you to make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, as we expect our room block to fill fast. You can always cancel your reservation with the hotel up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival without penalty.**
COVID Safety & Policy
ESIG leadership has decided that all participants of the workshop will be required to be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination will be required during online registration.

NREL Flatirons Campus Tour (12:45 - 5:00 p.m.)
The tour will include the ARIES grid simulation facility along with basic overviews of the wind turbines, PV arrays, CoMet (blade manufacturing), structural testing, dynamometers, the controllable grid interface and integrated energy systems. There are only 20 spots available for this tour. If you are interested, please register immediately. Also, any foreign nationals interested in attending, should contact Ryan Willis (ryan@esig.energy) by Thursday, May 5.
